On page 386 of Tysvær I Tysvær mens death records a Halvor Danielsen died Feb. 25, 1844. A note is written on next page across from this entry! Would like a translation of this note. Halvor's half brother, Daniel Larssen who is a distant kin to me ended up with the home which later became the parsonage for the Lutheran Church in Tysvær parish when he sold it. Lorene

It says: Omkom ved at falle overbord fra en baad og druknet (died by falling overboard from a boat and drowned).

Thank you so much! I knew it had to be the explanation to his death and buried some time later. Lorene
