...was born in Inderøy in North Trøndelag January 1, 1883, and his confirmation was September 4, 1898 in Sparbu in North Trøndelag. His parents were Peter Magnus Petersen Vist and Helene Margrete Kristoffersdaughter. Officially it is "said" that he emigrated to US in 1903. I am asking you to help me find this and what happened to his life.
Best regards,
Anne Benum

A possible candidate in 1910:

Or not? Check parents names and birthplace:

1903 arrival on Oceanic at New York; name given as Johan Conrad Wist:

Who died in Norway that Conrad came home in 1919 in part to settle the estate?

The person I have got so much information about, is absolutely correct!!! The only thing I don't know anything about, is what is connected with 1909!

Well, actually there aren't any more records in US after the passport to visit Norway. Did he stay in Norway and not return to US? Plus he apparently had a number of relatives, or at least people with his last name, working for him and living near him in Montana.

Well if somebody in his family wasn't the person who left an estate, maybe it was Gena's family?

Well, here's a return trip to US in 1920:

The wife Gena return trip to US in 1920:

Daughter Margrethe returns to US in 1920:

His son Carl returns in 1920 also:

I am sorry I wrote 1909 - that was wrong - of course I should have "said" 1919! But I can't say anything else. Thank you for Your help, all the same!
