Help please in interpreting cause of death for Lars Larsen Aase, born 1850 Hamre parish, died 30 May 1888. Death entered in Hamre church book for deaths/burials 1881-1898, page 218.

No I don't think I have had help with this person. Have received information on his siblings and parents. Lars Larsen Aase was my great-grandmother's younger brother. The 1875 census shows him on the family farm with a note that says, I think, "sick for several years". He next appears in July 1887 as a bridegroom, occupation gaardmand. Several months later, he is dead...30 May 1888. A cause of death is entered but I cannot read it.
