I was searching WorldCat library to see who had copies of

As you may know, the majority of the Norwegian bygebooks have been scanned and are available online at the Norwegian National library, but only for users with Norwegian IP-addresses. This is also the case for Øyestdad bygdebok.

But what you have found appears to be something different. Information at WorldCat.org seems to indicate the existence of an eBook version:

https://www.worldcat.org/title/yestad-bygdebok/oclc/747331617/editions?referer=di&editionsView=true

The publication date is given as 1981, the same as the print version. I find this strange. It could all be a mistake, buth worth investigating.

I did some more research. This is a service to subscribing universities only. Basically the online books are only available when their libraries are closed for emergency (like Covid I guess). You would have to be student, faculty or employee to use it. Not much help for genealogists.

If your local public library is open - have you tried for Inter-Library Loan? Not online, not digital, but the actual book(s) in your hand.

(My local public library has some special rules and limitations because of covid right now...)

You can also get some service at the Chester Fritz Library in Grand Forks N.D. Here are their FAQ about copies etc from the Arne Brekke Bygdebok collection:
