If anyone is available to help, I am looking to find the parents of Anders Tronsen. He died in APR 1822 Steen, Aker, Akershus, Norway.https://www.digitalarkivet.no/kb20061108030069

He married Marie Torkilsdatter in 1791 https://www.digitalarkivet.no/kb20061107010375

And I have seen him on a mortgage record of some kind.https://www.digitalarkivet.no/tl20080619630045

That is all the information I have on him. I find him in Family Search but I believe the information is wrong about his family and parents. I am trying to find any idea of his parents or his birth.
I would appreciate any help I can get.

If I remember correctly the Family Search Tree had his birth year as 1765. But here in the 1801 Census his birth year is given as 1757.

Anders died in Aker but his death record says "fod i Vallers" so he was born in Valders and his father's name is Thron. And in the marriage record he is given a military title "dragon."

The obligation record says "Haagenstuen now called Steen" might help you understand exactly what property is discussed.

Here is a link to the Family Search Tree.

https://www.familysearch.org/tree/pedigree/landscape/LXQV-DX5

If you look carefully at the tree and especially the list of children of Thron Arnesen Aaberg and Karen Andersdatter, you will see that all but one of the children are listed as having been born in Nord-Aurdal, Oppland. The farms listed for the parents and the children such as Åbjor are also found in Nord-Aurdal, Oppland. The only outlier is Anders Tronsen who is listed as having been born in 1765 in Aker, Akershus.

That leads me to suspect that the tree for your purposes is probably going to be misleading at best.

The 1801 Census gives the birth year of Anders Thornsen as about 1757. Here is a link to the parish book for 1757. I have scrolled through the list of births and there are several Anders listed. However the writing is difficult to read and I can not say if any of the Anders have a father as Tron or Thron.

Yes,and there are 2 Anders listed as children. I know that siblings are given the same names, but the fact that he has the only different birth place has me thinking I need to search somewhere else.

Yes, they do list him as 1765. They list his brother with the same name but not the right children or wife as being born in 1757. I am getting very confused.

Thank you, I scanned the year 1757 and 1765 in case the year was wrong but didn't find any that listed Tronsen.
