Okay something else. Three men died on 25 Oct 1887 each with the same cause. They each have different burial dates the last being Albert. Does this mean the bodies were found at different times or were no bodies found and the families just went ahead with funerals?

They must have been found at different times. If not, the burials should all have been around Nov 3rd.

Okay but is there anyway to be sure in the records that Albert's body was recovered?

Kuldseiling.

Capsizing. On Tuesday 25 October last, according to Nordlandsposten, the accident in Nordland happened, that 3 boys in their 20s perished at sea, as they were traveling between the islands on a small Sunnmøre boat from their home island to the trading place Glea.
As far as is known, this is the first time of the present-day generation that people have put their lives on this water.
One of the dead was the son of assistant Jakob Kristiansen, who just over a year ago also lost an adult, hopeful son, who died in Sweden, where he went to school. Of the man's 12 children, only 3 are now alive.
The other was the son of the late church singer Ellingsen, who a few years ago, with all his boat crew, also perished at sea during the winter fishing. The mother lives in a poor household and she lost her only son and support in the deceased.
The third was an immigrant from Sogn in Bergen County.
The accident is believed to have happened in such a way that a storm surge has capsized the boat, which has filled it with water and gone to the bottom without vaulting; because the boat was found standing on the bottom with the ballast in it.
Of the bodies of the deceased, so far only the latter two have been found and buried.

1. Albert Kristian Jakobsen Bryggen
2. Kristian Fredrik Ellingsen
3. Herman Nilsen Bryggen

Thus; by 17 Dec 1887; only Ellingsen and Nilsen had been found. Hard to tell if Alberts body was recovered between Dec 17 and January 1st. No articles found, but local newspapers for the perïod are of limited availability online. There is a possibility that the body was not found, and that the funeral ceremony was included in the New Year's Mass. Albert was the son of the Priest assistant, but he has not made any special marks in his klokkerbok https://media.digitalarkivet.no/view/8104/84082/12
