Thank you for the fast reply! Someone has listed a Niels Torson 1764-1857 and Sissel Olsdtr 1779-1855 as Siri's parents. Really wondering where Siri was from-farm name! Lorene

Thanks! Knew it had to be in the spellings is why I couldn't find the parents. In the Hjelmelnad in Hjeland records for 1834-1845 page 7 entry 27--is that Siri and Osmund? This Siri was confirmed in 1850 page 118--then I can't seem to find her anymore! If correct I can connect her to my family! Lorene

#27 Siri Osmundsdatter was born out of wedlock. Her father was a married man Osmund Endresen, Tytland and the mother was Siri Nielsdatter, Mælands??.

How do you connect Siri to your family?

Thanks for this! Okay! Now I know who this Siri Osmundsdatter is. Whatever happened--happened, but all in all she is a half sister to my Betsey Tuttle Tyler Brewick in LaSalle County, Il. Betsey first married Daniel Larsen Tysver-changed his last name to Tyler. He was the fist child/son of Lars Ingebritsen Tysver who was my great great grandfather. I am from Daniel's half brother, Engebert Tysver and wife, Martha Mikkelsdatr Erland=their first child Lars. This morning I have been busy trying to find Peter and Siri in USA. Think I did find them in 1860 IL Census as living in Mission twp. LaSalle County, IL entry 6882+ Then next I have been trying to connect them to Webster County, IA as Sarah Osmonson and Peter Peterson but the two first sons Peter and Niels aren't listed with them. It seems funny that they once were in Mission where Betsey and her parents lived Osmund Tuttle and Marlene. Then if that is them in Webster County this is where my first Lars Tysver lived. Lorene
