As a member of Ancestry you can also access the Family Tree for Hans Avlund Olson. I put in Hans and Olson and in the box for keyword put in Avlund and two Family Trees pop up. They have the birth date wrong, probably they used the birth data found on the FAG site ;posted above by Jane. However I think that this Hans is the same as the one you are looking for. They do not have any siblings for Hans but one of the Trees does have the the parents basically correct. It would be interesting to know how they figured that out.
They have the parents as
Ole hansen Avlunde Olson and Berte Pausdatter

And how about his in-laws? Can't find them in 1870. Her first name could be Elen Maria... The Arveson neighbours in 1880 are from Holla, Telemark.
1880: Ellen Severson, born 1819, married, Mt Morris, Waushara, Wis.
1900: Maria E Severson, born Mar 1818, im 1861. Mother of 6, 2 living. widow. Mt Morris, Waushara, Wis.
1910: Ellen M Sybfoherson, born 1818, im 1862. Mother of 6, 2 living. widow. Mt Morris, Waushara, Wis.
I'm not convinced it reads Sybfoherson...

Hi all, looks like we haven't found Torger "Thomas" Olson, son of Berte Paulsdatter, born 23 July 1850, except in 1880.

His brother Hans apparently is recorded on a family tree (Anton posted) as Hans Avlund Olson. Maybe Thomas kept "Avlund" as a middle name. I noticed a Thomas A Olson b 1850 Norway who is in Minnesota (1910) and then in Rice Lake, Barron, Wisconsin (1920), wife Sigrid/Sarah, and died 1926. I didn't pursue it. Possibly a coincidence. Maybe Thomas's location was pursued and not posted...Mari?
Also @Mari, in the beginning you say you found Aflund name "in a book" in Mt Morris Holden Lutheran Church in Wautoma, Wisconsin. I guess maybe the book was the church book for Mount Morris Holden Lutheran in Mount Morris, Waushara, Wisconsin. Maybe you noted the place from the transcription on Ancestry.com, ELCA archives. I find that often the PLACE in those transcriptions is wrong (close, but no cigar). I do not know why. I guess you looked at exactly the right church book in exactly the right place.
It's possible there could be a marriage or death for Thomas in that book.

This is likely Thomas A Olson in the 1900 Census. Unfortunately, the birth date is incorrect. And hard to guess what it really is. Looks like all the children were born in Minnesota.
