Im looking for any information on the name Børresen or Borresen from Brøttum, Ringsaker
Norway.
We had 3 people in our familie that took the boat to the us in the early 1900
There name Ole born 1882, Petter born 1884 and Anna born 1889
Thats what i know, and hope to learn more. |

Did they come from the Sveum farm? Emmigration records shows their destination as Boston, Mass.
This is prob. them in census-1910 for Blue Earth, Minnesota:
Ole Sveum, b 1882 Norway
Peter Sveum, b 1886 Norway
Ole B. Sveum married Anna C. Marsteen in 1908.

If this is the right person, the family tree cited by Jan Peter, indicates there were two living relatives in 2009.

Can they have used the farms name Sveum as there last name. When Ole was born they lived at Freng.
When Peter was born the lived at Mæhlums.. something.
The parents name was Børre Pedersen born in 1860 and Lena Olsdatter born in 1863 |

...and in 1900 they lived at the Sveum farm. Petter is a servant on the neighboring Skaug farm.
