Very useful finds Jackie. There are only two Ing* baptized 1800 plus/minus 10 with father named Anders in Kristiansand Møre og Romsdal in Ancestry.com data base

Ingebor Anna Andersdotter
in the Norway, Select Baptisms, 1634-1927
Name: Ingebor Anna Andersdotter
Gender: Female
Birth Date: 4 apr 1797
Baptism Date: 9 apr 1797
Baptism Place: Kristiansund , Møre og Romsdal, Norway
Father: Anders Estensön
Mother: Anne Sirena Larsdotter Lijckke
FHL Film Number: 124836
Reference ID: bk28 p70

Sort of Anna

Ingebor Amina Andersdotter
in the Norway, Select Baptisms, 1634-1927
Name: Ingebor Amina Andersdotter
Gender: Female
Birth Date: 18 mai 1798 (18 May 1798)
Baptism Date: 28 mai 1798 (28 May 1798)
Baptism Place: Kristiansund , Møre og Romsdal, Norway
Father: Anders Olessön Ejm
Mother: Marit Amundsdotter
FHL Film Number: 124836
Reference ID: bk28 p76

I think the middle name of your #6 is really Amina. Thus the second one above is the right lady. At least for the emigration.

The family in 1801 Census

1801

Another look at #6 also looks like Ingebor Amina Andersdatter Bøe.

The father of Anders Olsen in the census is Ole Bøe

Agreed about the name on the migrant in 1823. However records from Christiansund are a problem....

The 1815 census for Bakklandet consists of two lists and has the names of the heads of household and ages and ages of all the others by gender. In some cases lodgers with the family are also named but not all. Here is a digest

Rode 1 of Bakklandet
page 326 # 25 Andreas Dahl 31
page 327 # 29 Jacob Dahl 42
page 328 # 37 John J Dahl 36

Rode 2 of Bakklandet
page 344 #17 Johannes Holm 61
page 346 #24 Iver Dahl 71 (in his 2nd marriage)
page 347 #26 Otto Dahl 33
page 350 #37 Jonas Dahl 46

As a name Iver Dahl is interesting since in Nicholine Christine Dahl's marriage record her father is called Iver Dahl, not likely to be this fellow however because of his great age.

This is the link to the first page of Rode 1:
SAT, Census 1815 for Trondheim (transcript), 1815, p. 321

Here is an Lars Olsen Dahl confirmation record for Trondheim 1818. Father is Ole Dahl and mother is Mallena Olsdatter

#22

This one, whom I am sure we must have stumbled across before. When and what we determined I will have to go back and look.

Name: Lars Olesen
Gender: Male
Birth Date: 13 jun 1802
Baptism Date: 11 jul 1802
Baptism Place: Nidaros, Trondheim , Sør-Trøndelag, Norway
Father: Ole Simonsen
Mother: Malene Olsdr
FHL Film Number: 126822
Reference ID: 1770-1819 b 6

#71

Oddly enough he is directly below Iver Baardsen, brother of Lars Baardsen.

This is the Lars Olsen Dahl widower who married Ane Martha Andersdtr. Brandhoug in 1842.

Link

#15

Lars Olsen Dahl is in a Tree on Geni.com. Married twice. One wife is listed as Private. I sent a message asking about the Private Widow. There may be some errors in the Tree. Tree shows birth year for Andrea Gunnelie in 1841, I found a Andrea Gunnelie in 1843.

Geni.com

Baptism of first child Andrea Gunelie in 1843. Two witnesses are named Anne and John Dahlhaug

#29

Lars Olsen Dahl in 1865 Census

1865

This is likely Ole Simonsen and wife Malene Olsdatter and first two children Sivert and Kristine in Trondheim in the 1801 Census. Ole was a soldier.

1801

Yes, 1802 Lars Olsen Dahl is also on the sailor's list, enkemand when he married again in 1842ish, but probably not our guy, since Ingeborg Anna is a widow when she marries again in 1839.

And for #11, we also see Ms Ole Dahl and Anders Dahl. In the time frame of 1800 to 1830 for Strinda the only Ole Dahl that shows up in Digitalarkivet is Ole Sivertsen Dahl and Ole Simonsen Dahl who may not be the same person. Ole Simonsen Dahl and Ole Sivertsen Dahl occupy different time slots but they are both military men. Are they the same person? Likely not..

Lars Olsen Dahl

One candidate

Ole Simonsson married Mallena Olsdatter May 17, 1796. in Trondheim

The two of them are found in 1801 Census in Trondheim with two children Sivert and Kirstin
Ole is a soldier with the First Regiment b 1765 in his first marriage and Malena is in second marriage

Lars Olsen Dahl bap July 11, 1802 in Trondheim
father is Ole Simonsen Grenader and mother is Malene Olsdatter

Widower Lars Olsen Dahl born 1802 Trondheim marries Ane Martha Andersdtr. Brandhoug b 1816 in Strinda in 1842. Father is Ole Simonsen Dahl

Not likely the one as Ingeborg Anna Andersdatter is likely to have been a widow and remarried in 1839.

There are some people with similar names from Strinda such as Ole Sivertsen residence Dahl a bachelor who married Maren Lucia Jonsdatter of Lochtu af Frosten in 1809, probably a totally different couple

And Ole Sivertsen Dahl from Trondheim

Likely he is Ole Sivertsen Dahl who marries Maren Martha Hammon in 1812. His postion is listed as Fourer which is defined as a military position.

And in 1814 they have a child Sivert Andreas. His position is Fourer?? Sergiant.

Perhaps Ole is Ole Sivertsen Sandbergvald Dahl history unknown ,married to a Maren Martha Pedersdtr.Hammond. Maren is Maren Martha Pedersdatter bap July 8, 1792,Trondheim parents Peder Hamond and Gunnel Arensdatter.

When a widower Lars Olsen Dahl marries Gunnild Johannesdatter in 1833 his father is listed as Ole Siverstesen Dahl.

Reiterating:

The father of Maren Marie Neswold is named Lars Dahl or Lars Olsen Dahl.

The mother of Maren Marie Neswold is named Ingeborg Andersdatter or Ingeborg Anna Andersdatter or Ingeborg Holm.

The actual birth date or birth year of Lars Dahl is unknown as the only records there are about him are his name as given in his children's baptismal records (and in the era of the 1820s and 1830s parent's birthyears are not typically included) and in one child's death record.

No marriage record has been found that demonstrably belongs to Lars Dahl and Ingeborg Anna Andersdatter Holm. Likewise no death record for Lars Dahl has yet been found other than an approximate date of between the supposed conception date of daughter Nicholine Christine and the marriage date of his widow in 1839. The widow's remarriage record contains the information that her first husband died of sickness.

Lars Dahl's occupation in the baptismal records is matros or sailor.

Lars Dahl's parish of origin is also unknown.

Most of the known early family services, baptisms, confirmations and marriages are recorded in Bakklandet a parish which was originally in Strinda and then gradually came to be part of Trondheim.

Ingeborg / Ingebor Anna Andersdatter / Holm's exact birthdate is unknown. From the stated age in her 2nd marriage of 38 (in January 1839) yields a year of 1801 and her age at death in 1865 as age 70 so approximately born 1795.

Ingeborg's parish of origin is also not firmly established. The second marriage record under the column labelled "brudgommens ____ og opholsted and brudens fødestad" gives the notations of
"Frosten
Christiansund
lodging Bakl. (abbreviation of Bakklandet)."
This could be interpreted to mean that Jonas Quam was born in Frosten and lives in Christiansund and Ingebor lives in Bakklandet or that Jonas Quam was born in Frosten, Ingeborg was born in Christiansund and they live in Bakklandet.

In the indexes to the Kristiansund probate records, there appears to be only one Holm mentioned, Martha Holm the wife or widow of Henrik Holm:
SAT, Kristiansund byfogd*, 1824-1848, p. 348b-349a
Quick link: https://www.digitalarkivet.no/sk20090204720377

Most of the earlier indexes are maintained by first name first, there was no Anders / Andreas Holm. Each letter would have to be searched in these indexes looking for other Holm. There is an Ole Holm who d about 22 Jan 1809 but most of his survivors appear to be minor children, none named Ingebor.

In the later indexes there are a couple of Dahl mentions, Jacob and Madame Anthenette:
SAT, Kristiansund byfogd*, 1824-1848
Quick link: https://www.digitalarkivet.no/sk20090204720006

And R.J. Dall, Tollev Dahle and his widow Anne, Robert Dahl:
SAT, Kristiansund byfogd*, 1847-1857
